One day Blake Skelton is a master planter and the next he’s a mixologist. He can do it all. For the Halloween bar cart, he took plain apple cider up a notch with the addition of shrunken heads. Shrunken heads are carved apple halves dried in the oven at 200 degrees for three hours. After baking, they can then be placed in the freezer until use. Freezing the heads helps chill the cider for serving. Apple cider can be served as is for kids or spiced up for adults with choice of alcohol. How does Blake Skelton like his martinis? Bone dry. No martinis today. Instead, Apple Cider Mimosas are on the menu. Recipe is below. Blake favors skeleton drinkware. Cheers to Halloween!
