It was very windy yesterday which means the front yard is now full of fallen branches needing to be picked up. Before tossing them in the brush pile, I put a few limbs to good use for a fun DIY. The only supplies needed are a glass jar (I used an old pickle jar), twigs and hot glue.

Simply cut the twigs roughly to the length of the jar and hot glue as closely as possible around the jar. If the twigs are too long, cut them off to desired length using garden pruners.

So cute and a fun way to recycle materials. I filled it with flowers from my garden to brighten up the outdoor table.

While I was at it, I put a few more tree limbs into another vase for a fun outdoor centerpiece. There’s no reason you can’t have cute table centerpieces both inside and out.
