Happy daylight savings! I know many don’t like to spring forward because you lose an hour of sleep but, to me, it’s one of the best weekends of the year. Give me all the daylight! Seasonal depression from the dark, cold days of winter works a number on me. I’m ready to get my energy back and get out into the garden. Mmmm, home-grown veggies for dinner are right around the corner. No home-grown vegetables this week but homemade dinner will be on the table each night. Since Taylor Swift is inspiring a lot of Super Bowl parties this year, I thought it would be fun to make Chiefs friendship bracelets for the big game. Make ahead of time and let guests choose their favorite or set up a bracelet station for guests to make their own. Beads kits can be purchased at craft stores or ordered on Amazon. I used clay beads, plastic letter beads and 6mm round beads. I even used some old school plastic beads I had from a random craft from years and years ago. Being a craft hoarder comes in handy again! I strung my bracelets on elastic string. Some bead sets come with elastic string or it can be purchased separately. Simply tie the elastic string in a knot when the bracelet is long enough to fit around the wrist. How cute are these? Let’s go, Chiefs!
