HOME SWEET HOUSEWARMING GIFT
01/27/2022Last summer our son purchased his first home. It was a wild ride in this crazy market but after much searching, he found the perfect starter home with just enough small fixer upper projects to keep him busy until he’s ready to upgrade to something bigger.
I had fun picking out a few things to throw into a basket for a housewarming gift. Let’s take a peek at what I found.
BASKETS // Start with a basket to hold everything. I found this set of two collapsable baskets on Amazon. Everyone can use cute storage options.
HOME SWEET HOME SIGN // A new house needs to be decorated. I thought this little sign was perfect.
RING DOORBELL // Pretty much a necessity for any new homeowner.
MAGNETIC KNIFE HOLDER // Everyone has knives so everyone will need a safe place to store them.
POO-POURRI // I mean come on. He’s a guy. He needs these.
CANDLES // If the poo-pourri isn’t strong enough, candles for backup.
BAKER’S BOURBON // He loves to taste and collect various bourbons. His last name is Baker. How perfect is this Baker’s Bourbon?
HANDWRITTEN RECIPE CARDS // He’ll always remember his momma when he goes to make his favorite recipe and uses these hand-written recipe cards. I picked out all of his favorite recipes growing up and wrote them out on 4×6 notecards.
I love creating gift baskets and this one was extra special to give to my baby boy in honor of his very first home purchase.
